I know I am a bit of procrastinating writing the monthly status updates lately due to autistic burnout and school, among other things, but I'm working on it at the moment. So enjoy reading the back issues while ironing out the kinks post-import and expect more posts from the drafts backburner soon.

Since the last status update, we’ll be doing this every two months, because of schoolwork and other IRL errands. I know I always being hit by a bus containing a combination of autistic burnout and daily stressors, so expect slow updates.

I know I’m late to the last day of #AutisticPrideMonth (my own alternative name for Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, even it’s not yet June) because, well, life gets busy and getting hit by the burnout bus.

The Bloody Hell PH (From The BS.HQ)

After actually months of prep work (and other things), alongside writing this introductory post for The Bloody Hell PH on the Stack (also cross-posted to Medium because f**k Musk for choosing violence against readers and writers here, even the people of the fediverse). The Awesome Neurodiversity list

I made it as part of a performance task in our Science class involving genetics and autism (that could cause to have a field day for some looking for a “cure to nuke out neurodivergence”), which you find my work at Coda for roasting and transparency. I’m working on updating the resources list behind the scenes, but I also accept suggestions and feedback from the community too.

What am I reading/watching right now

As part of the Autism (Awareness and) Acceptance Month, I shared a list of things to do as an ally to the community through the month of April and beyond (which as an Autistic person I also did some of them) on my personal Facebook account (and sometimes over at @FromTheBSHQ@facebook.com too), among other things from fellow Autistics and otherwise neurodivergent people. Same on the birbsite and fediverse, even joined some discussions giving my own insights and stuff.

On the intersectionalities of neurodivergence/disability to other identities and even on the topic of discrimination, I even spent some time understanding the murders of disabled people under the Holocaust and by extension the eugenics movement (coughs in Autism Speaks as usual).

Meanwhile, in the internet shitfuckery department, especially on Musk’s Twitter, there have been a lot of shitshows happened here. From labelling NPR and BBC as government-affiliated media (which make me say “excuse me, did Musk mean government-controlled media from conservatives’ perspective” mentally)…

• I will start with a fresh from oven (as of 2023-05-01) episode of A Special Place In Hell podcast on intellectuals going (to be) extinct. My answers to these questions without listening to the episode (yet) are “Possibly, depends on who’s asking, and IDK about Judy Blume”. (I also embed the YouTube video episode of it for convenience, although you should also subscribe them on your favorite podcast apps).

• The Substack vs Ghost debate is probably still ongoing, but as more journalists start to build their own Stack and watch "everyone compete for eyeballs like some kind of very slow, pedantic Hunger Games" as from said in this note below, I think I'll expect getting things albeit crowded in the subscription platform side.

• I might spot this specific feature on Substack Notes feed about publication specific tabs for their writers and paying subscribers, as noted by 's below.

• Restacking with your own thoughts on restacked-with-notes threads is like Tumblr reblogs, but like Twitter, you need to dig deep into the threads to see the original post. In this restacking-with-notes thread, we’re talking about writer burnout here, specifically Hot Take Economy on 's restack.

• On the side of red-tagging (technically arresting, dehumanizing and murdering if it’s the case) activists outside the Philippines (which probably considered as “cool and normal” since Duterte administration by majority of the Filipinos who more focused on worrying about day-to-day errands (no shame either, but it’s kinda depressing that we don’t f**king care)), although this is NOT technically red-tagging itself, there’s also a student getting in jail due to participating a peaceful protest of, you guess it, anti-trans policies in a school.
